Just a short 2 miles from Manuel Antonio is Quepos,
the
main hub of this area.
The town is full of activity with its commercial
fishing fleet, palm oil harvesting, and its growing tourism activities. Sportfishing is obviously a big part of
the attraction here and approximately 60 sportfishing boats operate
out of Quepos at different times.
There are lots of restaurants,
bars, gift shops, and Internet cafes. Allow one of the excellent
restaurants such as El Gran Escape cook the
fish you caught the same day!
