Testimonials – MA-01 – Casa de las Brisas
We traveled with a large group of family and friends for a wedding. The house, the view, the location and the flow of indoor to outdoor entertaining/celebrating is in itself amazing. It’s rustic and charming, the main pool with the waterfall was in almost constant use, the property backs right up to the national forest so you feel like you’re in your own secluded jungle wonderland, the views from the first floor make you stare for hours, and the proximity to the beach is $8, which was also beautiful and not even that crowded during the busiest week of the year. What puts it over the top was the staff. Everyone from Ricky the manager (the guy answered the phone. Every. Single. Time. Two rings. He also set up excursions and helped navigate some of the particulars of getting around…in a word, indispensable), to Marcos and Jimmy our chefs (sorry for changing breakfast and dinner times around every night guys, all with a smile and great food) to the housekeeping staff, the pool guy, everyone was helpful and kind. Their hard work was noticed and appreciated by everyone. In short? Book this place for large groups, you’ll not regret it!”

We stayed at Casa las Brisas for a week for my Sister’s wedding. The house was really beautiful, but it was the warmth of the staff that made our trip. My sister befriended the cleaning woman, and even though they couldn’t communicate well, my sister felt so welcome and cared for. Jimmy and Marcos, the chefs, were the people I interacted with the most. Not only was the food fantastic, but they went above and beyond to accomodate us. And, they were always paying a lot of attention. One night, I came in at 7:30, and they had already put dinner away, but before I new it, they had made me a plate. They were also extremely friendly and seemed to really enjoy our company, always taking the time to converse. In sort, the staff was phenominal, and we actually miss seeing them. Please thank them for making my sister’s wedding that much more specia! “
